In April 2013, the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency signed a cooperation agreement with the Cities of Ełk and Sieradz.
The main purpose of the agreement is to promote the economic Municipalities and Cities, and thus increase their chances of attracting new foreign investment.
As part of the agreement, joint activities will be undertaken which aim at professional preparation of Ełk and Sieradz for attracting and servicing foreign investors by means of improving the skills of preparing investment offers, collecting and providing business information, creating and managing databases on the city's economy.
Til now PAIiIZ signed agreements with the following municipalities: Kielce, Białystok, Rzeszów, Lublin, Bydgoszcz, Olsztyn, Koszalin, Krosno, Częstochowa, Zamość, Piła, Szczecinek, Radomsko, Piotrków Trybunalski, Łapy, Radom, Opole, Łomża, Iława, Tarnobrzeg, Zambrów, Pisz, Dębica, Inowrocław, Elbląg, Suwałki, Wałbrzych, Sanok, Mielec, Przemyśl i Kędzierzyn – Koźle and Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency.
