Construction work has started on Galeria Neptun shopping centre development in Starogard Gdański. Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, advises the developer of the scheme. 
The shopping centre is being developed on the former site of footwear manufacturer Neptun, at the junction of Pomorska and Jana Pawła II streets in the centre of Starogard Gdański. The gallery will total 54,000 sq m, 25,000 of which is designated for lease. It will comprise two floors above ground and an underground car park for 618 cars.
The developer of the project is Galeria Neptun sp. z o.o. sp.k., based in Starogard Gdański. The general contractor is Dekpol sp z o.o. also based in the city. The centre is scheduled for completion in autumn 2014.
Cushman & Wakefield’s project management department has been involved in the process of obtaining planning permission for a change of use, obtaining building permit and preparation of the building’s design with landscaping. Cushman & Wakefield’s retail department is an exclusive leasing agent for the gallery.
