The stylish interiors of Ufficio Primo in Warsaw held the Outsourcing Stars Gala. During the event the best and the fastest-developing providers of outsourcing services in Poland in 2013 were rewarded.

While summing up the past year in the Business Services Sector, PAIiIZ President Sławomir Majman pointed out that Poland is a regional leader in BSS area. Moreover, recently, the country has become an important centre of business services on a global scale, he argued. There are more than 400 service centres in Poland. The annual increase in employment in the sector is estimated at 20%.

During the event, awards were given to the best outsourcing companies operating in Poland for such achievements of 2013 as: increase of employment, new contracts, increase of corporate clients from BPO, Call and Contact Center, Car Fleet Management, HR, IT, Sales, Accounting, Payroll, Project Management or Document Archiving. Cities, developers and companies representing the Real Estate area were rewarded for new investments, outsourcing events or new office space leases.
The list of best cities and region of the 2013 includes: Bygoszcz, Incest in Pomerania, Katowice and Łódź. They all received rewards from PAIiIZ director of Foreign Investment Department, Iwona Chojnowska – Haponik.

One third of investment projects completed by PAIiIZ between 2003 – 2013 come form BSS. As Mr Majman stressed, nearly half of currently provided projects by PAIiIZ are investments in modern business service centres.

Every year, the percentage of business services projects completed with the support of the Agency is rising. 29 projects (over 53%) out of 53 investments completed in 2013, represent BSS. These projects are supposed to result in the creation of over 7,400 new jobs.
