Construction of phase one of retail park Multishop Jarocin broke ground in late October 2015. Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, is responsible for its commercialization.

Multishop Jarocin will offer 5,650 sq m of leasable space. Phase one to be completed in May next year will deliver 4,100 sq m. The retail park has already been 70% let.

The general contractor of the scheme is B.P.H. MARZYŃSKI Sp. z o.o., present on the local market since 2011 (formerly Zakład Usługowy “MARZYŃSKI”, operating in the construction sector since 1997). The company specializes in construction of roads, buildings and sports facilities, and has its own machinery and equipment.

“The key factors in choosing the general contractor were the very good opinions about B.P.H. MARZYŃSKI Sp. z o.o. on the local market. The choice of a proven company will ensure an appropriate rate of progress so that the retail park is delivered in Q2 2016,” said Kamil Jasman, a commercial proxy of Multishop Development Sp. z o.o.

Multishop Jarocin will be developed in immediate vicinity of Intermarche and Bricomarche. Taking advantage of its convenient location and outdoor car park customers will have an opportunity to do shopping quickly and comfortably. In addition, a cycle path will be constructed as part of the development to make cycling easier.

The leasing concept for Multishop Jarocin provides for fashion, furniture and electronics stores, and service and dining amenities. Its tenants already include a JYSK store, an RTV EURO AGD store with consumer electronics, stores of Martes Sport and Reporter Young, and a 460 sq m fashion outlet, as well as a dining facility.

“Intensive talks are being held with other tenants and if lease transactions are signed, construction of phase two could start as early as in 2016. We also look forward to liaising with local entrepreneurs who would contribute to building a complementary offer of Multishop Jarocin,” said Tomasz Lipiński, a negotiator from the Retail Department of Cushman & Wakefield.
