On November 7th the new industrial plant in Subzone “Koszalin” of the Slupsk Special Economic Zone was officially opened. “Elfa Manufacturing Poland Sp. z o.o.” is a part of Elfa Group from Sweden.

On September 2011 “Elfa” got a permit on running a business activity within the Slupsk Special Economic Zone. On October 2011 “Elfa” signed a contract with BRE Leasing and purchased an industrial hall which is located in Subzone “Koszalin”.  After fast and smart re-construction process they adopted the hall to their production needs.

“Elfa Mnufacturing Poland Sp. z o.o.” produce parts for warehousing systems (parts from sheet metal and metal wires, as well as plastic and wooden elements, such as shelves, hangers, etc). On August 2012 they moved to the new facility in the Slupsk Special Economic Zone. Currently “Elfa” employs more than 200 people.

During a great and official opening of the facility among the others took part owners of the company: Kip and Sharon Tindell; President of the Municipality of Koszalin, Mr Piotr Jedlinski; President of the Board of the Pomeranian Regional Development Agency (the Administrator of the Slupsk Special Economic Zone), Mr Mirosław Kamiński. Guests listened to the presentation of the Elfa Group (including Elfa’s plant in Koszalin) and visited the industrial plant afterwards.
