In November 2014 SEGRO started the construction of a new warehouse facility at SEGRO Business Park Warsaw, Ożarów comprising almost 10 000 sq m of space. The first tenant in the building is Eden Europe – European producer of retail shelving systems. Another 90% of space within the facility is aimed at potential clients.

The construction of the new warehouse started in November 2014 and the completion is scheduled for QII 2015. The project will offer modules starting from 650 sq m (Small Business Units) and larger units, multiplying the basic modules. In total, 8 000 sq m of space is available for the tenants. General contractor of the facility is Depenbrock Polska.

‘Western area of Warsaw is an attractive location within Warsaw’s warehouse market. For years, especially since the opening of A2 motorway, it’s been one of the most active markets in the region. Its main advantage is convenient location enabling flexible urban distribution, also distribution to the south and west of the country and in the whole Europe. Constant, stable demand encouraged us to implement a speculative project within SEGRO Business Park Warsaw, Ożarów,’ says Magdalena Szulc, SEGRO Business Unit Director Central Europe.

The first tenant in the building will be Eden Europe – European producer of retail shelving systems. The company will occupy approximately 900 sq m of space. The transaction was advised by Jartom agency.

SEGRO Business Park Warsaw, Ożarów will eventually provide 86 000 sq m of logistics and light production space. The complex has an excellent location in the immediate vicinity of A2 motorway (Warszawa – Poznań – Berlin), just 16 kilometre for the centre of Warsaw. Park in Ożarów is one of four SEGRO’s investments in Warsaw, the remaining are: SEGRO Business Park Warsaw, Żerań; SEGRO Logistics Park Warsaw, Nadarzyn and SEGRO Logistics Park Warsaw, Pruszków.
