More than 1.8 billion zł company will allocate new investments in expanded five special economic zones (SEZs), creating nearly 950 new jobs. 20 May 2014, the Council of Ministers decided to extend the Legnica, Kostrzyńsko-Słubicka, Pomeranian, Katowice and Slupsk Special Economic Zone.

Areas of the Katowice Special Economic Zone is the most extended area, which increased by more than 346 hectares. On sites include Gliwice, Bytom, Tychy, Świętochłowice, Piekary Silesia, Czestochowa and Myszków. There will be implemented three new projects: the automotive industry, glass and metal.

Its area of ​​over 410 ha Pomeranian SEZ also increased. Its members have been incorporated areas from the Stargard and Black Water. Under the existing plant in the Black Water Steico Ltd. created an innovative line for the production of laminated wood veneer LVL.  

Changes included the Legnica SEZ, which increased by 156 ha. Its members have been incorporated areas from the Legnica, Polkowice, Legnica Fields, Glogau, Miłkowice and Kostomłotów. On private land Legnica Special Economic Zone Two, investments in the automotive industry. The Faurecia Legnica Legnica Field Ltd. will install new production lines for the manufacture of innovative decorative elements dashboards and door panels for premium cars. In Głogow while Sitech Ltd. will implement modern technologies for the production of car seat frames, which are the result of research investor. - Innovative solutions such as those used in factory Głogow, create jobs requiring high, technical qualifications. This opens up opportunities for people with specialized higher education - underlined Deputy Minister of Economy Ilona Antoniszyn-Click.

In turn, Kostrzyńsko-Słubicka SEZs increased by more than 79 hectares. Have been imported into the new land from the city Zary. This will allow for the expansion and modernization of the plant Kronopol, producing wood products. The investor will increase production hall and equip it with modern technological lines for, inter alia, for the production of milled wood panels.

In addition, within the limits of the Slupsk Special Economic Zone were over 7 hectares of additional land. New areas include the area of ​​the municipality Black. FURNITURE NEGRO Company Ltd. will expand and modernize existing there a factory producing furniture.
