On May 15 in Głogów the Sitech company officially opened a new manufacturing facility.
The plant in Głogów is the second location in Poland. There are currently over five plants of Sitech: in Polkowice, Wolfsburg, Hanover, Emden and Chinese Dongchan. The investment project worth a total of EUR 10 million was conducted by PAIiIZ since June 2012. By opening a new factory in Głogów 200 people will be employed.
Sitech specializes in the production of metal structures for car seats of Volkswagen Group. The company has operated in Poland since 1998 within Legnica Special Economic Zone in Polkowice. Currently Sitech is one of the most innovative companies in Poland, developing a modern and competitive components for the automotive industry.
