Colliers International announces the appointment of Mieszko Czarnecki as regional director in Szczecin, Poland.

Mieszko Czarnecki will be responsible for the development of Colliers International’s activity in Szczecin and the neighboring area and will support other departments in transaction process.

Mieszko is a lawyer and a specialist in promotion and public affairs. As an independent advisor he has cooperated in recent years with airports, incineration plants, business centres and various companies.

In 2012 he headed the newly created department for support of investors and business development (WOIiB) under the jurisdiction of Szczecin City Hall. Within this function Mieszko was responsible for the promotion of the city and coordinated cooperation between developers, service centres, suppliers and educational institutions.

Mieszko also initiated cooperation between PAIiZ and cities-service centres in the field of promoting Poland as a destination for BSS projects and foreign investors.

- Szczecin is one of fastest growing cities in Poland. Investors’ interest in this market is reflected by the number of investments which entered the building phase. Once all of the planned projects are delivered office market in Szczecin will double. Currently, over 60,000 m2 of office space is under construction in the city.
