The Aviva Investors' fund has finalized the sale transaction of the Focus Mall shopping centre in Bydgoszcz. The scheme was purchased by Atrium European Real Estate Limited for €122 million. Experts from JLL advised Aviva Investors in this transaction.

The Focus Mall, offering 44,000 sq m of leasable space on two floors and in historic buildings, is the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Bydgoszcz and the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship as a whole. The scheme offers 137 shops and services points as well as a well-developed restaurant and entertainment section (multiplex). Among the scheme’s tenants are such brands as: Alma, Bershka, C&A, Cinema City, Cropp, H&M, House, Mango, New Look, New Yorker, Pull & Bear, Reserved, Saturn and Zara. Visitors have around 1,000 parking bays at their disposal. The Focus Mall was commissioned for use in 2008. One of its many attributes, apart from its wide range of shops and amenities, is its location in the very heart of Bydgoszcz, which is well-served by public transport.

Agata Sekuła, Head of Retail Investment CEE, JLL, commented: ‘’The sale of Focus Mall shopping centre is the second largest investment transaction completed this year on the Polish retail market. This transaction illustrates that investors are focusing on high quality shopping centres in Poland's best locations, which have a cemented market position and a loyal customer base”.
