Cushman & Wakefield has won a tender process organised by PKP S.A. (The Polish State Railways) for the provision of business advisory services in the process of the development of the property at Towarowa 1 in Warsaw, on the former railway station Warszawa Główna Osobowa together with adjacent lands.

Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for advising PKP S.A. on the potential uses of the subject area.

“The 10 ha plot is located in a very attractive location in the core centre of Warsaw. The area is suitable for the development of commercial properties of various character, including office, retail and residential use” – says Izabela Mucha, Head of Valuation & Advisory department of Cushman & Wakefield.

“The Management Board of PKP S.A. is seeking to considerably improve the management of its properties. The areas surrounding the Warszawa Główna railway station have unfulfilled potential. It is high time we did something about it” – says Piotr Ciżkowicz, the Board Member of PKP S.A.

Cushman & Wakefield has already cooperated with PKP S.A. on the commercial development of the Katowice Osobowa railway station (advisory and support in the investor selection process), among others, or on organising the tender process for the sale of PKP S.A.’s properties located in the core centre of Warsaw – at the junction of Chmielna Street and Jana Pawła II Ave. (the land was sold at the end of 2011 for PLN 171m).
