JLL Industrial Department Consultants have conducted the sale of industrial land in Swadzim (Poznań area). The 17 ha plot was acquired from Werner Kenkel by Goodman Poland, who will establish a brand new logistics facility for one of its key client’s onsite. The successful closing of the transaction was partly resultant to the amendments, introduced by JLL to the provisions of master plan.

Maciej Madejak, ‎Head of Business Development Poland, Goodman Poland commented: „Swadzim land will be used as the location of our brand new logistics facility, developed for one of the key FMCG market players. This is yet another land acquisition transaction, conducted by Goodman and JLL recently. Many thanks to all parties of the deal for smooth co-operation”.

Tomasz Olszewski, Head of Industrial CEE, JLL, added: „The plot in Swadzim ticks all the boxes of industrial related development, however in line with valid master plan it was designated for retail. Taking such potential into consideration, we offered Werner Kenkel sale strategy, which required amendments of those provisions in the first place. I strongly believe, the trust we gave been granted, has significantly translated into the success of the transaction”.

The land acquired by Goodman Poland is located in Swadzim by S11 express way (which acts as Poznań’s western bypass road) and no 92 national route. American e-commerce giant – Amazon – is developing it’s 100 000 sq m logistics centre nearby.
